Mental Health

No matter how severe, your tinnitus may cause you to experience emotional and behavioural changes. These changes can include extreme mood swings, anger and self-imposed isolation; It is also common to see some people present with depression & anxiety.

Our tinnitus counselling service has a higher mental health recovery rate. This recovery is unique to specialist services who understand the issues from a place of experience from the very first session.

“Believe in yourself and all that you are. Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle

Tinnitus, or ringing in the ears, can be caused by many things. But it isn’t a disease. It’s a symptom of another health problem.

What causes the ringing? Usually, it’s from damage to tiny hairs in your inner ear. That changes the signals they send to your brain that control how you hear sound. You might get tinnitus as a normal part of ageing, but there are other causes. It could be temporary, or it might last for the rest of your life.

Psychological Support

We can support you with your emotional & mental health; our therapists work with people with varying degrees of tinnitus. The therapy focuses on assisting you to overcome various psychological barriers.

Our team understands that living with tinnitus can be difficult, but we know it can be manageable. Our treatment plans focus on helping you think more clearly & gain a purpose.
