“Therapists with Brittle Bones or a Simaler Disability Support Individuals & Caregivers with Specialist Cerebral Palsy Counselling”

The quality of life for people with brittle bone disease is impaired from an early age in relation to their health condition. This includes the impact of multiple hospital admissions and severe pain on mental health, not only for themselves but for those who care for them. Whilst some treatments are offered, there is currently no cure for the disease, which may add to low self-esteem and anxiety, depression, the feeling of being isolated and fear of early death.

Therefore considering the mental health and well-being of people with osteogenesis imperfecta need to be considered and assistance provided to help them and their families to cope with both the physical and emotional aspects of the disease. Therapies include how to develop skills for coping with the stress and anxiety inherent in living with life-long chronic health issues.

We support you with your mental health, whether pre-existing issues have worsened or a new condition that stems from living with Brittle Bones. Our specialist therapists understand the problems a life-long condition can have on your mental & emotional health.

Individual Support

We take pride in tailoring individual support for adults with Brittle Bones. We ensure their needs are met by delivering a flexible, personalised service.

Our Counsellors & Psychotherapists are driven to support their own community; this is not a job for them; it’s their passion. All our counsellors are registered & qualified to deliver exceptional therapies.
